Break Ya Bones is a literal call to dance and trance! It is also a reference to Fela Kuti's ‘Confusion Break Bones’ about the broken bones of the opposants to the Nigerian regime of the time. BYB is a cosmopolitan ensemble of ten musicians from around the world, sharing a common inspiration and like to leave ample room for cross-genre explorations. With the rhythm section’s hypnotic grooves, percussive horns and two explosive singers, the heart of BYB beats to the rhythm of a militant, dynamic, and generous Afrobeat.
