TABÓ AFROBEAT is the first Uruguayan band on the circuit to dedicate itself especially to the Afrobeat genre. It was born in Montevideo in August 2018 as an Afrobeat music project. It is a new, multicultural band, made up of musicians from the local musicians from the local scene that seeks to share and explore a little known genre. In 2020 they started working with the Uruguayan music producer, Juan Chao, with whom they managed to capture 2 awesome compositions (‘Déjà vu EP’). ‘Mandril’ is one of them.
