Don Plok is a producer, percussionist, DJ –both digital and analogue- with over 10 years of experience performing on both Argentine and Latin American stages. He fuses many rhythmic styles creating his own sound, with an obvious predilection for afro music, tropical beats and bass music. His second album ‘Kambara’ Anga’ is a perfect syncretism between electronic music and contemporary folklore, motivated by his search to make visible the influence of Afro culture in Argentina. The album was released on Folcore Records, a Barcelona-based record label dedicated to publishing works of artists who blend electronic music and earthly sounds, with a special focus on the new sounds of Latin America.
