For around two decades, the members of He K Tombe have collaborated with various groups that have left a legacy in the Mexican music scene of surf, reggae, ska jazz and afrobeat. This super band emerges from the depths of the roots of Afro-Latin Funk and Afrobeat music. ‘Salamandra’ is a trip to the Ethiopian deserts, to the watery and warm environments that help us enjoy the music, dance and disappear the racial and political borders.
