In June 2016 Zé Bigode Orquestra was founded by guitar player José Roberto Rocha from Rio De Janeiro. The band plays mainly instrumental music with influences from Jazz, Afrobeat and passing through a wide variety of Afro-Brazilian rhythms. In 2016 they released their first EP ‘Zé Bigode’ and a year later the ‘Flux EP’, both acclaimed by Brazilian art associations and art critics. They worked together with Pedro Selector, trumpet player and singer of Bnegao. ‘Tikulafe’ is their new single.
