Sia Tolno is a Guinean-Sierra Leonian artist, steeped in Afrobeat, Afro-blues, Mandinga and Soukous styles of African popular music. Sia was born in Sierra Leone, and later took refuge in Guinea. She began to sing at a young age, and released her first album in 2002. Sia's previous albums were produced by Tony Allen (on Lusafrica), her latest EP is produced and recorded in Barcelona by Aaron Feder (Alma Afrobeat Ensemble) in collaboration with Slow Walk Music.
